Safe Driving Coalition
Frequently Asked Questions

How did the Safe Driving Coalition get started?
The safe driving Coalition is a group of dedicated driving instructors, insurance people, and private individuals concerned about the safety rate of teens in the state of Indiana. Currently over half the students in Elkhart county neglect to take drivers education. This is for a various number of reasons, including cost, and the lack of importance placed on drivers education. We are out to change this including lowering the cost so everyone can afford it. Helping shape the attitudes of young people about safe driving, and parents to stress the importance of drivers education. By working with the schools and different programs we are banning together to make this happen.
